Liz has been an Iyengar yoga student since her 20’s; beginning her Iyengar yoga journey in the mid-1980’s.
She qualified as an Iyengar teacher in 2005 and, over the last six years, has made regular trips to Pune to study at RIMYI, the mother institute in India, most recently attending Prashantji’s convention in December 2017.
Liz teaches yoga classes in North, East and West London, and is a secondary school teacher in Hackney.
She is committed to deepening her understanding of the yoga postures, as well as pranayama, philosophy and remedial work.
She is happy to have this opportunity to share what she has learnt from her teachers and her self-practice so far.

Louise qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher in 2010 and currently holds the Junior Intermediate 2 certificate.
She trained and continues to study under the guidance of Senior teacher Alaric Newcombe, enjoys workshops with visiting Senior teachers, and has studied with the Iyengar family in Pune, India.
She believes wholeheartedly in the physical and emotional benefits of practising Iyengar yoga and in the rewards that come when you weave yoga into your life. She aims to teach with focus, clarity and humour and enjoys helping students to progress. She teaches in Stoke Newington and at home.
