This event is in the past.
We are delighted to welcome back John Shirbon for another workshop.
John has over 20 years teaching experience, and specialises in Pranayama (understanding and culturing the breath), which brings tremendous stillness to the mind. His style of teaching couples precision, characteristic of Iyengar yoga, with a profound understanding of how mind and body interact during the practice.
John's knowledge of the texts from which yoga is drawn, and the Sanskrit language, root his teaching in an ancient philosophy that is still completely relevant to modern society. He has regularly updated his own practice over the years by attending workshops with BKS Iyengar, members of the Iyengar family, and their senior teachers.
He is a founding director of the Iyengar Yoga Studio in Tooting, where he teaches regularly.
John's workshops are very popular and usually sell out so advance online booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment. Advance booking not only secures your place, it allows us to contact you if there are any last minute changes.
